Vajas pogacsa (Hungarian biscuits)
Ingredients
1/2 kilogram of flour
1 stick of margarine
1 egg
200 grams sour cream
40 grams yeast in 100 milliliters of milk with a pinch of salt (stored in a warm place)
Instructions
Place the flour in a bowl. Then mix in the margarine by hand. Next comes the yeast, egg, sour cream and salt (according to one’s taste). Mold the dough into a round shape. Cover with a clothe for 30 minutes to an hour. Roll the dough so it is about the thickness of a finger. Cut the dough into round biscuit shape. Top each biscuit with egg yoke and caraway seeds. Place in a pre-heated over and cook on medium heat until the bisucits are ready.
