Hungarian Pretzels (Perec)

Hungarian pretzels have little dots on the top of the dough.

Ingredients

1 kilogram flour
250 grams margarine
200 ml sour cream
250 ml milk
teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
25 grams yeast

For the dots:

3 tablespoons of flour
1 tablespoon of salt
a little water

Instructions

Place the yeast in lukewarm milk and store in a warm place for 30 minutes Place the flour in a bowl and mix in the margarine. Mix in the yeast, sour cream, milk, salt and sugar. Put aside for 30 minutes. Cut into pretzel shape with a cookie cutter. Place into a pre-heated oven over medium heat. When they are half cooked, take the preztels out of the oven. Mix the ingredients for the dots together. Brush over the top of the pretzels. Place the pretzels back in the oven and cook until done.
