Frankfurter Goulash
Ingredients
- 100g bacon lardons
- 3 large onions, peeled and sliced
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled
- 12 frankfurter sausages
- 2 bay leaves
- white salt and black pepper to taste
- ~200 ml chicken stock
Method
- Heat large saucepan over medium heat, add lardons and fry until golden.
- Add onions and continue to fry until carmelized.
- Add potatoes, frankfurters, bay leaves, salt, and pepper, and gently mix.
- Pour over chicken stock and simmer covered for 30-45 minutes (or until potatoes are tender and sitting in a rich gravy).
