Shepherd’s Pie

2 cups cooked leftover lamb or l lb ground lamb or beef
l cup cooked potatoes cut in cubes
1 large onion chopped
l cup gravy
1 cup cooked or canned peas
1 cup cooked or canned carrots
1 T butter
mashed potatoes to cover

Saute onion in butter. If using ground meat add to pan and cook until no longer pink. If no gravy is available add 2 T flour and l Cup beef broth. Add all other ingredients and heat through. Place in casserole and spread mashed potatoes evenly over top. Place under broiler until potatoes are browned on top
